An actor’s headshot should speak to you. It should show the various stories the actor can tell.  I believe getting a good head shot comes when the subject uses his or her acting skills to put themselves in a situation that will evoke some kind of emotion; pictures should not be about posing and looking pretty, but rather they should say something.  We should be able to look at a picture and see where someone could potentially be cast.
