I'm a mom of three (sometimes more depending on which niece, nephew or neighborhood kid pops over for a visit). Neighborhood Chaos Coordinator at your service! I believe the door should always be open for visitors, good conversation, and laughs.
I have a passion for acting, teaching, and family.
After my second child was born, my husband and I decided to leave the hustle of Los Angeles and move back to Orange County where we were both born and raised. We love the entertainment industry and couldn't bare to leave it behind entirely; so, we teamed up combining my 20 years experience as an actress and acting coach, and my husband’s skills as a creative videographer to help young actors take a shot at their Hollywood dreams. Together we help kids navigate through the daunting task of taking head shots, demo reels, and of course how to become a working actor.
"Be happy – not because everything is good, but because you see the good in everything."
I performed in my first school show in the Seventh Grade, and I’ve been hooked ever since. In addition to performing in as many school plays and musicals as I could, my twin sister and I got an agent and started auditioning for commercials/television while we were in high school. I went on to study theatre in college and graduatedCal State Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts degree. I loved kids and teaching, so I also earned my teaching credential from National University.
Following my passion for the performing arts has led to credits on countless theatrical productions, films and television shows including the cult hit, Veronica Mars. One of my favorite jobs was co-hosting ESPN’s Auto trader.com/drive with my identical twin sister. Known as the trivia twins, the two of us had fun stumping viewers with automotive trivia! A few of my theater credits include: TheAmerican Girl Review at the Grove, Sweepers (Karen)at ICT Long Beach, Barnum (Jenny Lind), and Oklahoma (Laurie)
Along with acting, I studied voice for over13 years. My voice can be heard on various original musical soundtracks as well as on two compilation albums of Rogers and Hart Rarities (VolumesI & II). In 2006 I co-produced my own children’s album entitled Simple Harmony, Gentle Songs to Grow By. The album is composed of entirely original works- many composed and sung by me. I also spent 3 years commuting back and forth from Nashville, TN; writing, singing, and recording demos.
I toured Los Angeles for over 10 years with Enrichment works, a non-profit group bringing theatre to inner city schools, performing various shows that educate and entertain children of all ages. I also led acting workshops in elementary schools and directed children’s musical theater productions such as Peter Pan.
While pursuing a career in television/film inLos Angeles, I worked at the Acting Conservatory, Gary Spatz’s the Playground. I fell in love with teaching young people how to hone their acting skills. When I decided to go into private coaching and parted ways with the Playground 17 years later, I left behind my position as their Director of the Orange County School.
