This was a very emotionally challenging role. For the audition, Idris allowed himself to completely let go and put himself in this character’s shoes. Approaching crying scenes is different for each actor. There are several ways to drum up emotions. As an acting coach I get to know my clients, so I can work with them to figure out which technique will make them successful.

Alessandra plays A camper at Kikiwaka Ranch who is a hearing person fluent in ASL. Alessandra only had basic prior ASL skills but. For this audition she had to work double hard to be able to speak and sign both her lines and the other characters all while keeping that Disney energy!

Tabi is a devoted student of mine who not only takes private coaching with me, but she also takes my weekly young adults acting class. For this role she had to speak Farsi through out the scene. I was so proud of how well she did.
